Need to sign the renewed lease by 8/18 or will lose the rental house and have to find alternate housing. Unfortunately, affordable housing here is also multi-family dwelling, which requires pesticide and herbicide applications per the city. So am trying to avoid this and find someone, who understands MCS/MCAS to share this amazing home with.

2bd, 1ba for rent in 3bd, 2ba house with 1 housemate (42F) & organic backyard garden in Brentwood Historic neighborhood. There is a tenant living in the casita in the backyard of the property; the yard is shared with this tenant.
NON-NEGOTIABLE due to allergies:
- No pork
- No shellfish
- No smoking/vaping
- No chemicals, including pesticides, herbicides and most standard household cleaners
- No fragrances, essential oils are okay
There is beautiful morning light in the kitchen and front room, perfect for sitting amongst the houseplants & planning your day with a cup of coffee or tea. The back living room is currently utilized as a movement therapy space, for games/gathering, and as a workspace.
You'll be sharing the house with a small business owner who works from home 50-75% of the time and is actively involved in community service & the permaculture lifestyle.
The house is mostly furnished, except your bedrooms & bathroom. You will have the front 2 bedrooms and bathroom to yourself.
Utilities & household expenses are split equally. Ideally, you’re a female invested in your community and the earth, you’re honest, responsible, clean, quiet, an effective communicator and open to drawing up a loving housemate agreement.
Single tenant only. No pets. There is a service dog in the home but no additional pets are allowed by landlord.
Must pass background check and credit check to be added to the lease with 4:10 Real Estate.
