Unique Studio for Chemically Sensitive/ Synthetic Fragrance Free Person

This one-of-a-kind (artistic flair), built for me (chemically sensitive person) in 2020, studio is charming and completely healthy! It is 200 sq ft + a semi low ceiling (80sq ft ish) loft bedroom, kitchenette, and 1 bath. It has a 2 burner induction stove top, electric tea kettle, small fridge, toaster oven, and dish drying rack. There are 2 tall well off-gassed cabinets with shelves and drawers for additional storage (not in pictures). Has nature imprints with watercolor highlights in concert floor.

It sits near South Mountain on an acre in Phoenix, AZ. Very quiet area. My home is also located on this property and this studio is situated on the back of the property. It has a window AC unit built in the loft area. It is heated with a space heater in winter. No plumbing in the walls.

Rent is $1,200. One month rent due for security. Utilities included are water, internet, sewer, trash, recycling, and property maintenance. You just pay for your metered electric (runs between $20-$55 ish a month). Internet is ethernet connected (or Wifi if you want to connect that way). Meter for electric and internet modem are in barn about 50 ft away. Plumbing is not in the walls so no worries about mold growing from unseen leaks (the dark solder mark on the shower ceiling is gone now). There is off street parking and there could be laundry on the property (we can talk about that). Only one person has lived in this space. She is only moving to be closer to work.

Looking for someone who is quiet, respectful, honest, communicative, very clean, non-smoker, and someone who is environmentally friendly and will recycle and will not use synthetic fragranced personal products or chemical cleaners-for medical reasons this is a must! No parties.

You must be OK with dogs as I have 2 Standard Poodles who roam the back fenced-in area where the studio is too. Available July 1st.

I have lived in this casita for the last 9 months. It is a great little house for MCS/ Canary folk who seek to continue their healing journey. It is built with MCS-friendly materials and has exposed pipes and stainless steel counter-tops! No mold here! I love that it is located at the base of a Mountain! It is quiet and peaceful. I regularly hear Coyotes and Owls at night, and there is lots of birdsong during the day! Daniele, who is the property owner, is a super-great landlady, friendly and kind! .PS. Prospective tenants should know that my mold sensitivities are extreme and chemicals are moderate, so during the time I lived here, I did use an all-purpose Seventh Generation cleaner containing thyme and citrus essential oils.
