Description:
Hello, I’m a 66 year-old female with a long list of let’s say unique challenges; also able-bodied for the most part. I'm wanting to rent the master bedroom in my home that’s currently not furnished, (and as you’ll see is used more for storage right now) but I’ll be happy to provide that if I find the right person that wants to rent.
I’m looking for someone that wants to maintain the house in a healthy manner when it comes to mold prevention, low EMF, and MCS-compatible. Must also love dogs for I have 2 small huskies that are primarily inside.
The room for rent has a private entrance, bathroom with shower, and measures 12.5’ x 14’ (which includes the closet area but not the bathroom). The house has an HOA park to the back, and a county open space across the front, and there is a walkway between one of my side neighbors, so for a California suburb it has more space buffering than a lot of houses. The entire house has tile, forced air w/ metal ducts, gas heat, electric stove, no WiFi.
I’m told the value is about $1,200/month but I’m not opposed to negotiating. The renter will also pay their share of utilities. This will be the first time I’ve rented it so I’d like to also see what sort of value it holds in the real world, especially with this being a unique circumstance. I’m also willing to trade partial rent in exchange for help with the house and/or dogs if desired.
