Review from my stay in February 2024
✅Positives
-General area for January ‘MCS friendly’ , Less people less problems !
-Self catering well equipped kitchen
-Organic food available from Aldi (great range!) 15 mins by car , taxi
-No airfreshers in property
-No essential oils in property
-Bedding was unfragrenced !
-No carpets
-Lift to get from ground floor to first floor Suitable for those less physically able
-Beach accessible for those less physically able , flat , benches seats , board walk , wide pavement
-Beautiful beach 15 min walking distance !
-Apartment gets routinely cleaned before arrival , we personally requested a wipe down only with water, bicarb -very accommodating/understanding
-Private washing line little outside balcony
-Lovely welcoming host
-Good value for money
-Neatest airport Malaga
-Close proximity to bus stop towards Torrox town 5min walk , clear live timetable , bus every 30mins
❗️Negatives
-Drinking water in Spain not good quality we bought our own to use whilst there but also found the local shop water not very good. Tested and tasted acidic .
-Wifi on 24/7 unable to be switched off as it is a shared router
-Other nearby wifi networks available from the apartment were 5g
-High EMF
-Smart TV
-Noisy area early morning and night /sometimes during night
-Chemical cleaning products left around apartment (upon arrival we bagged up)
-Very cold at night (we didn’t mange to figure out how to use fancy heating equipment)
-Terrible locks
-Right beside a little convenience store , in the evening locals ‘hanging around’ outside …
-The seated terrace is on another floor from the actual apartment (this is not mentioned on booking . Com)
