Wanted: Mold and Chemical-Free Rental in Chicago Area

We're looking for a rental house or apartment in the Chicago area (1-4 bedrooms, 1-4 bathrooms). $1,500-7,500/mo.

Rent period: negotiable (per month or per year).

- Mold-free. (This is the most important qualification).
- Must have a bathroom fan that vents outdoors.
- No water intrusion or condensation issues.
- No history of fire damage.
- Smoking must be prohibited throughout the building.
- Fragrance free (no air fresheners or added scents).
- No shared air (i.e. shared heating/cooling) between apartments.
- No window A/C units (i.e. A/C units that stick partway out of the window or wall).
- Must have washer/dryer in-unit.
- Prefer no carpet.
- Above grade only (no basement or daylight basement apartments).
- No buildings with finished basements. Prefer a building with an unfinished basement that extends under the entire building (prefer no slab, prefer no crawl-spaces).
- Prefer: no pool in the building.
- Prefer: allows dogs.

My husband & I are: friendly, quiet, clean, non-smokers, non-drinkers, mold-free, fragrance-free, careful and conscientious caretakers of property. And of course we always pay our rent on time. We can offer excellent personal references. We do not have children.
