40’ SANDPIPER BY FOREST RIVER
Trailer was completely gutted and refurbished in 2020. It was modified to be MCS
and EHS safe. The only thing original is the steel frame. The gentleman who renovated the 5th wheel trailer lived in it with his wife and
two children for one (1) year. I have had it for a little over one (1) year. I lived in
the trailer in Florida, last winter and am currently living in it, in Florida, again. I am
selling the camper because I am planning on having a small house built, by same
gentleman who renovated the camper and therefore will no longer need it. I’m
hoping for it to go to someone with MCS/EHS, if possible. Here is construction and product information:
- Board and Batton siding over 2 X 2 wood framing and some aluminum
framing. - Rockwood insulation in walls and floor.
- Greenfiber R12-R60 insulation in ceiling.
- Regular camper windows with 2 added small vinyl windows in kitchen and
bathroom. - Cali Bamboo vinyl flooring – broken bamboo pieces sealed with non-toxic
binder and is ultra-low voc. - Interior walls are 5mm revolution plywood paneling – ultra-low toxicity.
- Ceiling is ¼” pine tongue and groove.
- Walls in the three bump-outs (slide outs) are Purebond board ripped down
to look like shiplap. - Everything is painted with white Romabio non-toxic mineral paint.
- All wood treated with hydrogen peroxide, sealed with Safecoat and painted with Romabio.
- Vanities, kitchen cabinets and pantry built with pine and sealed with Safecoat.
- Ceilings are taller at 8.5’
- Sofa, kitchen table and kitchen bench were built using Purebond wood and sealed with Safecoat.
- Cattle troth tub in bathroom – very cool!
- All shelving throughout built with pine, stained with coffee and sealed with Safecoat.
- Roof is ½” QSB Rubber roof – recommend to recoat every 5 years with sealant. Roof is currently 2 years old with no leaks.
- All wires are encapsulated with McCable.
- Breaker box has 200 amps and nearly everything is on a dedicated breakers.
- 1 year old GE stackable washer and dryer – fragrance free. Only 7th Generation Free + Clear laundry detergent, along with Borox, has been used in machine.

- All mattresses are natural latex, by Plush Beds and covered with organic cotton mattress covers and sheets.
- Girard model #GSWH-2 tankless, on demand, hot water heater system.
- I have also installed an electric tankless, on demand, hot water heater system, as it would be a better option for a MCS person. You would have the option use either unit.
- Living Waters purifier system under the sink (LWUC4S). This system is better than a RO system. There is a whole camper three stage water filtration system in the bin where the water hooks up plus a sediment filter on the hose. Additional carbon filter on the shower head.
- Blomberg 30” fully integrated built-in refrigerator with bottom freezer –high-end European design.
- Central A/C. Heat supplied by space heaters.
- Abundant storage – under beds, sofa, behind sofa, closets, hidden drawers and steps.
- Three (3) skylights with fans to circulate air.

Omg this would be perfect for me. Currently in a hotel in Palm Bay. Wondering if I could get financing for this. It would save my life.
