The space
Built in 1958, this spacious and private 1200 square-foot home is a true classic. High on charm and replete with all the modern comforts you'd expect, recent updates include elegant subway tiling, brass fixtures, and terrazzo flooring throughout.

The large and sunny backyard is the perfect place to unwind at the end of the day. Catch it at the right time of year, and you'll be surrounded by blooming Wisteria, Lilac, Roses, Desert Willow, Mimosa and more.

The house is adorned with vintage textiles from around the world, authentic mid century furniture, and handmade piece from makers near and far. Multiple large closets and ample storage space make this space ideal for longer stays.

Please note that this house is not suitable for those looking for total silence during their stay. While the house is quite peaceful, we are located in Central Albuquerque so you may hear an occasional siren, airplane, or other city sounds. We are happy to provide earplugs for your comfort.

The house features an eco-friendly Evaporative Cooler. While it does keep the house very cool and comfortable it is not the same as being in an air conditioned space. It is important to understand this prior to booking as no refunds will be given due to issues with temperature.

Please do not attempt to use the fireplace. It is not operational and if used, will severely damage the house.

The house is routinely treated for pests using non-toxic compounds. However, this is the desert and it is possible you may see some critters in or around the house during your stay. If this is the case, please let us know and we will have our team out to retreat the house ASAP.

You may see a pair of roadrunners on the property during your stay as well as nesting pigeons. We feel lucky they have chosen our backyard as their home and ask that you observe them from a distance and do not do anything to disturb them or their nest.

No unauthorized photoshoots are permitted on the property. If you plan to use the space for professional photo or video content you must receive prior consent and pay any applicable fees. Additional fees are based on the nature of the photo shoot and intended usage of photos. Please inquire for details.

Checkout is at 11 am. If you are still on the property after checkout, you will be charged for an additional night. We take this very seriously as we need adequate time to clean the space and prepare for our next guests. Thank you for respecting the agreed upon length of reservation.
